About Fast Glass
A Surrey glazing company that has been doing the same two things well for over 20 years: turning out fast when glass breaks, and making bespoke glass properly when it doesn't.
Who we are
Fast Glass (London) Ltd has been glazing across Surrey and South West London since 2003. We work from a yard at Hatch Farm on Chertsey Road in Addlestone, which is what makes the one-hour response realistic across the KT postcodes rather than aspirational.
We're a Surrey Police approved contractor and an approved contractor for many major insurers. Both of those matter most on the day something has gone wrong — they mean we can attend a scene, do the work, and give you documentation an insurer will accept without argument.
What we do
With our emergency glazing service for homes, we can repair or replace any window in the property. Our double glazed unit repairs restore the insulation a failed sealed unit has lost, and where a window can't be glazed immediately we board it up securely.
For commercial customers we offer the same emergency glazing, with three areas we're especially strong in: shop front window replacement and retail glazing; hotel and leisure glazing; and office window replacement.
The other half of the business is bespoke. Shower screens, balustrades, splashbacks and mirrors, supplied and installed by our own glaziers. We work with architects, shopfitters and builders on structural and architectural glass of essentially any type.
How we work
Quotes are free, written and carry no obligation, and there is no call-out charge to come and price a job. We tell you what something costs before we do it.
Bespoke work is templated on site rather than made from measurements given over the phone, because toughened glass cannot be cut or drilled once it has been toughened. It's slower by one visit and it is the reason things fit.
And we'll tell you when the answer is no. If a wall won't take the fixing, if the frame rather than the glass is the real problem, or if your insurance excess is more than the repair, we'd rather say so.
Surrey & South West London
Our emergency glazing covers a wide patch, and we hold to the same one-hour target across it. These are the towns we work in most.
