Overview

A 24/7 control centre and a one-hour response

Break-ins, accidents, storm damage and vandalism don't wait for office hours, so neither do we. Every call goes to a real control centre that is staffed around the clock, every day of the year, and a glazier is dispatched from the nearest van.

We aim to be with you within one hour. Covering Weybridge, Addlestone, Chertsey, Walton-on-Thames, Esher, Cobham, Kingston upon Thames, Wimbledon, Putney, Richmond, Twickenham, Staines-upon-Thames, Woking, Guildford, Epsom, Farnham and Leatherhead, help is genuinely a phone call away — whether it's your home, your shop or a site you're responsible for.

What we do when we arrive

  • Make the property safe. Broken and loose glass removed and disposed of, edges made safe, the area cleared so nobody gets hurt.
  • Secure the opening. Where the glass can't be replaced immediately we board up to a standard that actually resists entry, not a token sheet of ply.
  • Replace the glass where we can. Vans carry common stock sizes and glass types, so a great many jobs are finished in one visit.
  • Provide what your insurer needs. As an approved contractor for many insurers we're used to supplying invoices, photographs and reports for a claim.

We fix broken windows — and a lot more besides

From an emergency repair to a shop front to a breakage in a family home, our team arrives with a solution that is affordable and done properly. In over 20 years we have responded to more emergency call-outs than we could count, so there is very little we haven't already seen.

Commercial glass replacement, domestic glass replacement, boarding up, schools, offices and factories — the emergency service covers all of it, on the same one-hour target.

Frequently asked questions

How fast can you actually get here?

Our target is one hour from your call, 24/7. Around Addlestone, Weybridge, Chertsey and Walton-on-Thames it is often considerably less. Further out — Farnham, Guildford, Wimbledon — traffic and distance apply, and the control centre will give you a realistic time when you call rather than a promise we can't keep.

Do you work at weekends and on bank holidays?

Yes. The emergency line is answered 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, including Christmas Day. Glass doesn't only break on weekdays.

Can you replace the glass on the first visit?

Often, yes. Our vans carry common thicknesses and types of glass, so standard panes are frequently replaced there and then. Sealed double glazed units, toughened glass and anything patterned or oversized has to be manufactured to size, so we board up securely and return with the finished unit — usually within a couple of days.

Is boarding up secure enough to leave overnight?

Yes — that's the whole point of it. We fix boards properly to the frame or reveal so they resist being pulled off, rather than tacking a sheet over the hole. It's an interim measure designed to keep the property secure and weatherproof until the glass is ready.

Will my insurance cover this?

Most home and commercial policies cover accidental damage and damage from a break-in, though excesses vary. We're an approved contractor for many insurers and can supply the invoice, photographs and description of works a claim usually needs. Check your policy excess before claiming — for a single small pane it is sometimes cheaper to pay directly.
