Frequently asked questions
How long does bespoke glass take from order to fitting?
Typically two to three weeks from the site template for shower screens, splashbacks and mirrors, and three to four weeks for balustrades and structural glazing. Toughened glass cannot be cut or drilled after toughening, so everything is made from the template — which is exactly why we template on site rather than working from your measurements.
Do you supply glass only, without fitting?
Yes. We supply trade and DIY customers with float glass in all thicknesses, sealed units, safety glass, mirrors, back-painted glass, balustrade panels, patterned glass, shower glass and table tops, with free delivery and fast lead times.
Can you match a colour for a splashback or back-painted glass?
We can match effectively any RAL or Farrow & Ball colour, and we can match to a physical sample if you bring one in. Bear in mind that clear glass has a slight green tint, so for pale colours we recommend low-iron glass, which is optically much closer to neutral.
Do you work with architects and interior designers?
Regularly — around 500 architects and designers use us. We're happy to work from drawings, attend design meetings, advise on what is achievable in glass, and provide specification details for tender.
Is there a minimum order?
No. We'll cut a single shelf or a single mirror just as readily as we'll glaze a whole house. Small orders are quoted the same way — free, and with no obligation.
