Who we are
This site is operated by Fast Glass (London) Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (number 04671848) at Hatch Farm, Chertsey Road, Addlestone, Surrey KT15 2EH. We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website.

What we collect and why
When you use the contact form we collect your name, email address, telephone number and the content of your message. We use this solely to respond to your enquiry and, if you go ahead, to carry out the work. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our services, and the performance of a contract once you instruct us.
When you call us we record the details needed to attend and complete the job: name, address, contact number and a description of the work.
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. The site loads no third-party analytics, no advertising pixels and no social media trackers. See our cookie policy for the detail.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent personal data, ever. We share it only where it is necessary to do the job you asked for:
- Our form provider, Web3Forms, which delivers contact form submissions to our email inbox.
- Our email and IT providers, who host the mailbox the enquiry arrives in.
- Glass manufacturers and suppliers, where a bespoke order requires a delivery address.
- Your insurer, but only where you have asked us to deal with them on a claim.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't become jobs are kept for 12 months and then deleted. Records relating to completed work are kept for six years, which is the period during which a claim could be brought and the period HMRC requires for business records.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to have inaccurate data corrected, to ask us to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to ask for it in a portable format.
To exercise any of these, email sales@fastglass.co.uk. We will respond within one month. If you're unhappy with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
